Stookey Township maintains two parks. The Stookey Township Park is located at 100 Arlington Dr. (off of S. 74th St.) and the Stookey Athletic Park at 309 Eiler Rd.

 

Stookey Township Park:

Stookey Park consists of ~20 acres and includes two playgrounds, a ½ mile paved walking trail, work out stations, pavilions, a dog park, bathrooms and open greenspaces. It also houses our Heroes Plaza, a monument dedicated to first responders, active duty military and veterans and clinical staff.

Pavilion 1 is reservable and has four, 8-foot picnic tables (one is ADA accessible) and a charcoal grill. Pavilion 2 is reservable and has eight, 8-foot picnic tables (one is ADA accessible) and a charcoal grill. Pavilion 3 is non-reservable and has two 8-foot ADA accessible picnic tables.

Stookey Athletic Park:

Address: 309 Eiler Rd. Belleville, IL 62223

Stookey Athletic Park consists of ~19 acres of the former West End Khoury Fields. It includes numerous baseball/softball diamonds and soccer fields that are available for rent. It has four pickleball courts and a sand volleyball court with lights. The Township hopes to renovate this park and add bathrooms, a playground and walking trail in the future.
